CARDINAL GEORGE DISCUSSES SIGNIFICANCE OF
SUPREME COURT RULING
In the latest edition of The Church, the Cardinal and You, we'll hear what Cardinal Francis George has to say about the U.S. Supreme Court ruling in the Hobby Lobby case. And we'll talk with the Cardinal about the Archdiocese of Chicago's offer to help migrant children.
The cable TV program also features Catholic Family Day at Great America and the blessing of bikes as a motorcycle ministry is launched in Chicago.
The Church, The Cardinal and You is broadcast via the Comcast cable network. Andrew Lyke, director of the Office for Black Catholics, and Todd Williamson, director of the Office for Divine Worship, host this show produced by the Archdiocese of Chicago's Office of Radio and Television.
Comcast customers who live in Chicago and throughout the suburbs can see The Church, The Cardinal and You, Sunday at 2:30 p.m. on CN-100, the Comcast Network (Channel 100). The program also airs Friday at 7 p.m. on Chicago Loop Cable Channel 25.
This program features an interview with the Director of the Office for the Protection of Children and Youth for the Archdiocese of Chicago, Jan Slattery, and two of her team members, Mayra Flores and Tom Tharayil. Father Greg Sakowicz talks with the OPCY team about their initiatives to help protect young people in all Archdiocesan schools, programs and institutions.
