DINNER THEATER PERFORMANCE OF ST. MARK'S GOSPEL IS JUST ONE OF THE FEATURES OFFERED AT “CATHOLIC FESTIVAL OF FAITH” IN ROSEMONT
CHICAGO (January 20, 2006) A special "dinner theater" production of famed Catholic composer Marty Haugen's musical The Song of Mark will be presented on Friday evening, February 16, during the Archdiocese of Chicago's Catholic Festival of Faith, at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center, 5500 N. River Rd., in Rosemont.
The Song of Mark is a one-act musical adaptation of the Gospel of Mark, and
will be performed by a cast of Chicago-area performers and musicians. A children's chorus will also be featured in the performance. Dinner begins at 7 p.m., and the musical performance will begin at 8:15 p.m.
Tickets for both the dinner and the musical performance cost 40. A limited amount of theater-only tickets may be purchased for $10. The Song of Mark is only one of the musical events offered at the three-day Catholic Festival of Faith taking place February 16-18, 2006.
