MEMORIAL MASS FOR DECEASED PRIESTS OF
THE ARCHDIOCESE OF CHICAGO
Friday, November 20, at Holy Name Cathedral
Chicago, IL (November 3, 2009) – Francis Cardinal George, O.M.I., Archbishop of Chicago, and the auxiliary bishops, with the priests of the Archdiocese, will concelebrate a Mass to pray for all Archdiocesan priests who have died in the last year, at 12:10 p.m. on Friday, November 20, at Holy Name Cathedral, 735 North State Street, Chicago.
Most Rev. Thomas Paprocki, Auxiliary Bishop of Chicago, will deliver the homily at this celebration that is open to the public. This memorial Mass also marks the 13th anniversary of the death of Joseph Cardinal Bernardin.
