Catholic Men Invited to Daylong Event
Chicago, IL (March 1, 2011) – The 2011 Chicago Catholic Men’s Conference will be held on Saturday, March 19, at the Chicago Oak Brook Marriott in Oak Brook, Illinois. Francis Cardinal George, OMI, Archbishop of Chicago, will celebrate the closing Mass of this daylong conference. The Office for Evangelization of the Archdiocese of Chicago is sponsoring the Chicago Catholic Men’s Conference 2011 entitled; Where Christ grows in the hearts of men.
The conference begins with a welcome and prayer at 8:30 a.m., followed by several nationally renowned speakers who will address the group in English and Spanish, including: former New York Giants Super Bowl Champion, Chris Godfrey; performing artist Sean Forrest; Catholic speaker Deacon Alex Jones; Fr. Johnpaul Cafiero, OFM, Chaplain for the Illinois State Police-District 15 & Chicago. Relevant Radio host Drew Mariani will be the Master of Ceremonies.
The conference fee is $45 per attendee and includes lunch. Parking is free. Fathers wishing to bring their sons, ages 13 to 21, may do so for an additional $20 each.
