SISTER CHRISTINE KUB TO BE DIRECTOR OF THE METROPOLITAN TRIBUNAL

Chicago, IL (December 21, 2012) – Francis Cardinal George has appointed Sister Christine Marie Kub OP, JCL as the Administrator of the Metropolitan Tribunal of the Archdiocese of Chicago. Sister Christine will take over the daily administration of the Tribunal on January 1, 2013 while Father Michael Hack, Judicial Vicar, begins his six month sabbatical.  Sister Christine is a member of the Dominican Sisters of Springfield, Illinois.  She received her licentiate in Canon Law in 1999 from the University of Saint Paul, Ottawa, Canada.

Sister Christine has held a number of leadership positions in her community and is currently a Judge on the Metropolitan Tribunal.  Sister grew up in the Mt. Greenwood section of the city and she and her family were members of St. Christina Parish.
