NEW TELEVISION HOME FOR SUNDAY MASS AT MERCY HOME FOR BOYS AND GIRLS
Sunday Mornings at 9:30 a.m. on WGN-TV 9

Chicago, IL (January 10, 2013) – Sunday Mass at Mercy Home for Boys and Girls has moved to a new time and a new channel.  The “Parish of the Airways” is now seen on Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m., on WGN-TV, Channel 9, in Chicago.

Sunday Mass at Mercy Home, recorded at Mercy Home for Boys & Girls in the Our Lady of Mercy Chapel, has been a source of spiritual nourishment since 1992 for those unable to leave their homes because of age or ailment to attend Mass.

Principal celebrants of the Sunday Mass at Mercy Home are: Rev. L. Scott Donahue, President/CEO of Mercy Home for Boys & Girls and resident priest of St. Robert Bellarmine Parish in Chicago, Rev. Gregory S. Sakowicz, Pastor of St. Mary Parish in Evanston, Rev. Tom Baldonieri, Pastor of St. James Church in Highwood, Rev. Carl Morello, Pastor of Saint Giles Parish in Oak Park and Rev. Jason Malave of St. Benedict’s in Chicago.
