Our Lady of the New Millennium

Currently, the Statue of Our Lady of the New Millennium is on display at:

St. Clare of Montefalco Parish
5443 South Washtenaw Avenue
Chicago, Illinois 60632
(773) 436-4422
Pastor: Fr. Michael Sullivan, OFM Cap.

The statue will remain at this location for the summer. We regret that requests to host the statue cannot be honored during this time.

The statue of Our Lady of the New Millennium, commissioned by the late Carl Demma, was inspired by his lifelong devotion to Our Blessed Mother. The stainless steel statue stands 38 feet tall and weighs over 8,000 pounds.

Pope John Paul II blessed the statue during his visit to St. Louis in January 1999. Ingeniously transported on a flatbed truck and raised by custom hydraulics, Our Lady of the New Millennium has since visited hundreds of parishes and religious communities in the Archdiocese of Chicago.
